The first time I came to the UAE was in 2018, when we delivered the connected eBike for Dubai Police. We spent a few days at Dubai Technology Entrepreneur Campus - Dtec. Back then, it was still growing. Just a few buildings, open space, and an early-stage setup.
In 2022, I returned to Dubai for some meetings. And I really wanted to check out DTEC again. We couldn’t even find the entrance at first. The entire neighborhood had changed, and new buildings were everywhere. DTEC itself had leveled up. More teams, more structure, more interesting projects.
But being there brought back a lot of memories. It reminded me how far things had come and how quickly time can pass.
