After almost a full year, I decided it was time to move out of Masdar City. That place will always be part of my journey, but it was a tough year. Too many emotions were tied to that apartment. Even though it was well located, even though it served its purpose, I needed a fresh start.
So I started exploring. And then I found Al Muneera, a quiet, gated island community, peaceful and self-contained. I walked around, and instantly felt something shift. It felt like the kind of place where life could breathe again. I picked an apartment on the 10th floor, with a view over the channel.
It’s amazing how much emotion influences decisions. The moment I moved in, everything became easier. Lighter. More possible. The community was great. Cafés, walking areas, and the sea nearby. I had space. I had quiet. I could work again, rest again, think again.
The apartment in Masdar didn’t go to waste. It became Q Labs’ first office, and I finally had a place I could call home again. Something just for me.
