We finally moved into the new office. The lower floors were still under construction, but our space was ready, and that was a big milestone.
Around that time, more of the Croatian crew started joining in. The team that would later become AirQ UAE began forming, and I felt a sense of relief. It wasn’t just me anymore. There was support. Familiar energy. I was still working on various projects, mostly iotaap, but also a new concept: a ventilator add-on to enable remote monitoring of legacy ("dumb") ventilators. A smart layer over existing machines. We worked hard, but we had fun too. This office saw a lot of long nights, brainstorming sessions, and tough decisions.
Q Labs was part of a much bigger holding. That came with support, but also rules. I had to learn how corporate structure works, how approvals move across multiple layers, and why things can seem slow. It was frustrating at times, but it taught me how to lead inside a system.
