Well, this was quite a unique and advanced concept. A reconnaissance bike for sand, fully electric-powered with an 8kW motor and 70 km/h max speed.
We developed and custom-produced the entire system. It featured various tracking and navigation tools, including navigation in GPS-denied areas, communication between vehicles using light-based systems, and specific frequency band data exchange for remote ops.
On top of that, we integrated a small surveillance drone, mounted on a flat surface of the bike and yes, we modified the native drone software so it could take off during a 70 km/h ride. Apart from surveillance, it was used as a proxy for communication between vehicles.
